Encouraging a love of reading in your young child can be as simple as reading them a bedtime story. I loved reading aloud to my kids at this age; I got to visit some of my old favorites (Dr. Seuss, Richard Scarry) and discover some new ones (Robert Munsch, Phoebe Gilman). Allow your inner actor to come out and bring the book alive with sound effects and silly voices. You will be amazed at how the day’s stress will melt away!
